Easter at McIntosh
Easter Picnic (After the Service)
After the service, we invite everyone to stay for a relaxed Easter lunch on the grass. Feel free to bring a packed lunch along with a blanket or a few lawn chairs and enjoy some time outdoors together. There will also be light refreshments available for anyone who prefers simply to stay and visit.
This time is meant to be simple and unhurried—a chance for families, friends, and guests to linger a little while, meet others in the church, and enjoy conversation together after worship. Children can play, neighbors can get acquainted, and visitors can ask questions or learn more about the life of the church.
Whether you bring a full picnic or simply stay to talk for a few minutes, we hope this time together will be a warm and welcoming way to celebrate Easter as a community.
There is no dress code for our Easter service. Some people will come dressed up for the occasion, while others will come more casually. Our desire is simply that people gather to hear God’s Word and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ together.
What to ExpectWhether you have been part of a church for years or are simply curious about the message of Christianity, you are warmly invited to join us. Our service is simple and centered on the Bible. We will read Scripture, pray, sing, and hear an expository sermon explaining the meaning of Christ’s resurrection and why it matters for us today.
