Exploring McIntosh
At McIntosh, we believe the church is more than a place you attend—it’s a people you belong to. Membership isn’t about adding your name to a list; it’s about stepping into a covenant community that is committed to following Christ together, caring for one another, and making the gospel known.
Exploring McIntosh is a simple, no-pressure opportunity to:
• Hear what we believe and why
• Learn where we’re headed as a church replant
• Ask questions and get to know our leaders
• Consider what it would look like to formally link arms with us
Whether you’re ready to join or just exploring, you’re warmly invited.
God has been so kind to bring together a group of people eager to see a faithful, gospel-preaching church thrive here again. If you’ve been visiting and wondering what your next step might be, this is it.
Join us this Sunday—we’d love to have you there.
Family Worship Conference
Family Worship Conference
Saturday, August 22, 9:00am–3:30pm
We are pleased to host a one-day conference on family worship for churches in the Flint River Baptist Association and beyond. Registration details will be announced soon.
What is family worship? Family worship (sometimes called family devotionals) is the simple, regular practice of gathering in the home to read Scripture, pray, sing, and talk about the things of God. Whatever your household looks like, we want our homes to reflect Joshua 24:15: “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Our goal for the conference is to be welcoming, encouraging, and practical. As Donald Whitney advises, “Be brief, be regular, and be flexible.” We intend for that spirit to shape our time together.
What to expect
Practical teaching and resources for leading family worship in every kind of household
Ideas and tools for engaging children during devotional times
A simple lunch and resource bags for each participating household
Time for Q&A and conversation with leaders from across the association
Cost: $30 per household.
We’re thankful for the opportunity to encourage families to worship the Lord together at home. More details, including registration, will be posted soon.

Christmas Eve Service
Celebrate the joy of Christmas with us at McIntosh’s Christmas Eve Service on Wednesday, December 24 at 5:00 PM. This special evening will include Scripture lessons that tell the story of Christ’s birth, congregational singing of beloved Christmas carols, and a meaningful time of devotion. We will conclude the service with a beautiful candlelight moment, reminding us that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
This service is designed for all ages and is a peaceful, reflective way to prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of our Savior. We would love for you and your family to join us.
Carols and Cocoas
All are welcome to enjoy a time of treats and carols on Wednesday December 17 from 7-8pm. Help us celebrate the coming of Jesus with songs, fun, and worship.
